Plumbing Heaven

On the first day of our "Thousand Miles on a Gold Wing" in August, we stopped in Kohler, Wisconsin and visited the Kohler Design Center. If you're an HGTV house-makeover-show addict like I am, this place is like a candy store.

Wall O' Toilets

Imagine an entire, massive, floor-to-ceiling wall of nothing but TOILETS!!

And can't you imagine a long, candlelit soak in this space?

Or one of these? The picture quality isn't great on these two -- by this point I think I was overcome by emotion -- but if you look closely at the second one, you'll notice it's an infinity tub! The water overflows so that the level stays flush with the edge --right up to the top of your very relaxed shoulders!

Who wouldn't love a vessel sink (or two?) with fluted edges?

TMI??
All in all, a wonderful afternoon spent at the Kohler Design Center.

(Trips are always better when accompanied by an agreeable picture-poser!)

For more dream-spinning plumbing, take a look at the Kohler site and plan your own trip to Plumbing Heaven!

  1. What fun! I had no idea there was such a place. And look at some of those items! Infinity tub?! Wow.

  2. It's a must-see if you're in Wisconsin, Karen! They also have model kitchens. As beautiful as they were, I think I focused on the bathrooms because kitchens mean work and infinity tubs represent those "Calgon, take me away" moments!

  5. Becky, this is so cute, and so funny! I admit to a toilet fascination and now I want to go visit here.
