Michelle Levigne biography
About Michelle
Levigne
Michelle has been a
book addict since her Dr. Seuss days, graduating to The Happy Hollisters
(juvenile detectives) and The Black Stallion at an early age. In junior
high, she became a "pusher" – creating her own stories from her
favorite books and TV shows, "rewriting" the unsatisfying ones. A
recovering Trekker, she has many short stories written in fanzines for such
universes as Star Trek, Stargate, Highlander, Stingray, Beauty and the Beast,
Starman, and the Phoenix, as well as a short stint publishing her own
multi-universe fanzine, Starwheel. Her academic background includes degrees
in theater/English and communications, focusing on film and writing. Her first
professional publication was in conjunction with the Writers of the Future
Contest in 1990, where she won first place in the fourth quarter. Writing in romance,
science fiction and fantasy, she has been an EPIC Award finalist nearly every
year since 2004, winning in 2006 with Lorien, and with The Meruk
Episodes in 2010. She is the author of the Tabor Heights novels of small-town inspirational romance, and in 2013 will launch a new series that ties into Tabor Heights: Quarry Hall, inspirational women's fiction featuring adventure, suspense, and a touch of angelic interference. A native of Northeast Ohio, she is a freelance
editor by day, writing novels, short stories and scripts by night.

Meet Connie Cortright
My life has been the fulfillment of my girlhood dreams - grow up and become a Lutheran school teacher, marry a pastor, and have lots of kids. My life has taken me from one coast (California) to the other (New Jersey) following my pastor-husband from church to church with our four boys.
My husband of thirty four years, Rev. Charles Cortright, and I now live in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin where he is a theology professor at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. After bouncing from coast to coast, we are here to stay in the Midwest where I started out.
Our four sons are now married to wonderful Christian women. We have six grandchildren who live from Modesto, California to Spokane, Washington to Red Deer, Alberta, Canada to Oak Creek, Wisconsin. We try to see most of them at least once a year and are very thankful for Skype and our computers!
I love reading books (especially historical romance as you could probably guess) and now, writing my own stories.
You can keep up with me on my blog or contact me on my e-mail address.
